Postcards

Irthlingborough Historical Society commissioned two series of four postcards of images from their archives, published by “Photographic Heritage”. Many of these cards are still available from the society.

Series 1:
No. 1 Inwards Farm, High Street
No. 2 Parsons Farm
No. 3 Art Brown in March Lane
No.4 Haymaking near Irthlingborough Station

Series 2:
No. 1 Thomas Lilley Ltd., Shoes, now Kwik Save
(even Kwik Save have moved away now.)
No. 2 Keunens Tannery, Station Road. (Later Pittards)
No. 3 Nortons Shoes, Scarborough Street (now Excelsior Court Hats)
No. 4 Hatton and Shaw Tannery, formerly Brick Works
and later the Palace Roller Skating Rink.
